Terrence Sundar started his career at a retail catalog startup. He managed to transition from an accounting position to a self-created finance position. He later joined a Fortune 500 company, where he spent the majority of his time performing a dual role as a financial analyst/project lead working with consultants to provide feedback on the Hyperion implementation as a front-end super user. This was something he enjoyed with a passion, and he ultimately ended up turning the page to become a Certified Hyperion Planning and Essbase Consultant himself for several years, not to mention being a part of the very small yet very first internal Hyperion Planning & Essbase implementation team at 500 Oracle Parkway in Redwood Shores, California, shortly after the acquisition of Hyperion in 2007. This successful implementation paved the way for further Hyperion-related consulting and implementations at various companies across different verticals spanning many industries. Recently, Terrence decided to shelve external consulting and spends much of his time as an internal Hyperion engineer/consultant helping Shutterfly, Inc. by servicing, expanding, and maturing the company's Oracle Hyperion Suite using best practices.
